The Mike Furrey Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to improve the lives of those that are Hungry, Homeless, Hurting, and/or Hopeful. The organization helps promote/advocate for the basic needs of all people/children to be met.

OFF THE FIELD
- Mike and Koren started and run the Mike Furrey Foundation
- During the season they visit and volunteer at Children's Hospital of Michigan
- Mike and Koren started a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle in Canton, Michigan. The members are from Plymouth-Canton Schools and meet every other week at their house.
- They are active in various charity organizations
- Attend Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MI and Saint James Lutheran Church in Hilliard, Ohio.
- In 2004 received their Real Estate Licenses in Missouri
- Mike enjoys wood working and hopes to pursue a career in Construction Management when his football days are over
- Working towards achieving a BA from Northern Iowa
