2007:
- Has recorded 55 receptions for 617 yards (11.2 avg.) and a touchdown so far this season.
- Starting at wide receiver, Furrey caught five passes at Oakland (9/9) for 52 yards.
- As one of four wide receivers starting against Minnesota (9/16), Furrey snagged five catches for 60 yards.
- Furrey started at wide receiver at Philadelphia (9/23), catching five passes for 43 yards.
- For the fourth consecutive game, Furrey caught five passes against Chicago (9/30). He ended the day with a team-high 91 yards, including a career-high 49 yard long reception that set up the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.
- Furrey had one catch for 14 yards at Washington (10/7).
- Against Tampa Bay (10/21), Furrey made two catches for 24 yards.
- Furrey made three receptions for 44 yards at Chicago (10/28).
- Started against Denver (11/4), catching three passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.
- Posted five catches for 64 yards at Arizona (11/11).
- Made five receptions for 41 yards against the New York Giants (11/18).
- Had a season-high seven catches for 57 yards at Minnesota (12/2).
- Furrey had another seven-catch game at San Diego (12/16), finishing with 80 yards receiving.
- Returned three punts for 30 yards against Kansas City (12/23). Also returned one kickoff 15 yards.
2006:
- Furrey finished the season ranked second in the NFL (first in the NFC) with 98 receptions this season, which also led the team. His 98 receptions are fifth on the Lions' all-time single-season receptions list, and his tally this season are the most catches by a Lions since WR Herman Moore caught 104 passes in 1997. He also ranked eighth in the NFC (14th in the NFL) in receiving yards with 1,086. After obtaining his first 1,000-yard season, he and fellow WR Roy Williams became the first Lions receiving tandem to each record 1,000 yards since Germane Crowell (1,338) and Johnnie Morton (1,129) did so in 1999.
- Furrey’s team-leading 98 receptions rank as the fifth-best in team history in a single-season.
- He is only the third player in NFL history, and only the second non-rookie, to record 98 receptions following a season when he recorded zero receptions (87 receptions for Detroit in 2006 and 0 receptions for St. Louis in 2005). He is the first non-rookie to accomplish this feat in 46 years since WR Lionel Taylor caught 92 passes for Denver in the AFL in 1960 after recording zero receptions for Chicago in 1959. Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin also accomplished this feat in 2003 when he caught 101 passes during his rookie season. His 98 receptions are also the most ever by a non-rookie following a season when he recorded zero receptions.
- Teamed with Roy Williams to become one of only three WR duos in the NFL to each register 80 receptions and 1,000 yards, and were the first Lions duo to do so since Germane Crowell and Johnnie Morton in 1999.
- Their combined 180 receptions were the second-most by a WR tandem in the NFL in 2006, and were the most since Herman Moore (104) and Morton (80) in 1997.
- Marked only the fifth time in team history that two Lions’ WR each caught 80 passes in the same season.
- Led the offense with five catches for 55 yards (11.0 avg), including hauling a long pass of 19 yards against Seattle (9/10) in his first game as a Lion.
- In his first career start at wide receiver, Furrey had a then career-high six catches for a career-high 67 yards (11.2 avg) at Chicago (9/17).
- Added three catches for 38 yards (12.7 avg) with a single-game career-best long catch of 25 yards in his effort against Green Bay (9/24).
- Had a career day at St. Louis (10/01/06), registering eight catches for 82 yards (10.3 avg) and two touchdowns, all single-game career-highs. Also had a long catch of 22 yards. Furrey’s two TDs were the first offensive touchdowns of his career. While playing safety with the Rams, Furrey returned an interception 67 yards for a touchdown against New Orleans (10/23/05).
- Registered another career day at the New York Jets (10/22/06), setting new career and season-highs in catches (9) and receiving yards (109) while recording his first 100-yard receiving game of his career and third TD catch of the season.
- Made four grabs for 72 yards (18.0 avg), including a season and career-long catch of 26 yards vs. Atlanta (11/5).
- Led the team at Arizona (11/19) with six receptions for 67 yards (11.2 avg.) with a long catch of 20 yards.
- Furrey once again led the team in receptions vs. Miami (11/23) with seven for 67 yards (9.6 avg).
- Recorded his second 100-yard receiving game of the year with a career-best 123 yards on nine receptions with a career-long 31-yard reception and one touchdown to lead the team in receiving for the third week in a row at New England (12/3).
- Continued his streak of leading the team in receiving to four straight games vs. Minnesota (12/10) after a nine catch for 84 yards (9.3 avg) performance against the Vikings.
- Led the team in receiving vs. Chicago (12/24) with 10 catches for 107 yards (10.7 avg), his third 100-yard game of the season, caught a long pass of 20 yards and scored his fifth receiving touchdown of the season against the Bears.
- Notched his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season to lead the team with 102 yards on a career-high 11 receptions and one receiving touchdown at Dallas (12/31). His 11 receptions are the most for a Lions receiver since Herman Moore had 11 during the 1997 season.
- After his performance against the Cowboys, Furrey (1,086 yards) garnered his first 1,000 yards season and along with fellow WR Roy Williams became the fourth wide receiver duo in franchise history, and first since Germane Crowell (1,338 yards) and Johnnie Morton (1,129 yards) in 1999 to have two receivers reach 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
2005:
- Led the team in interceptions after making the switch to defense prior to the season, going from wide receiver to safety. He emerged as the Rams’ starting free safety after the fifth game.
- Saw first action in the secondary at Arizona (9/18) and then again the following week vs. Tennessee (9/25).
- In his first significant action at free safety, he set a career high with nine tackles (seven solo) vs. Seattle (10/9).
- Became the starting free safety and started his first game at Indianapolis (10/17), playing every defensive down. He also contributed on special teams, recovering a fumble.
- In his second start vs. New Orleans (10/23), he made his first career interception which he returned 67 yards (career-high) for his first NFL touchdown to help St. Louis seal the win late in the fourth quarter.
- Started and had an interception vs. Jacksonville (10/30) which he returned 37 yards. He also recovered a fumble.
- Intercepted a pass (33-yard return) for the third consecutive week at Seattle (11/13) and had four tackles (two solo) along with two pass defenses.
- Tied team high with nine tackles (eight solo) vs. Arizona (11/20).
- Returned a punt 5 yards at Minnesota (12/11).
- Had his team-leading fourth interception vs. Philadelphia (12/18) which he returned 6 yards.
2004:
- Played in eight regular season games and both playoff contests, mostly as a contributor on special teams coverage and return units.
- Finished season with 13 special teams tackles which was the second most on the team.
- Had a career-high three special teams tackles at San Francisco (10/3) in addition to two kickoff returns for 44 yards (22.0 avg).
- Was named Special Teams Player of the Game for his two special teams tackles in NFC Wildcard Game at Seattle 1/8/05
- Saw action on special teams in NFC Divisional Game at Atlanta 1/15/05.
2003:
- Prior to signing with the Rams (4/29), he was leading the AFL in receptions (108), receiving yards (1,574), receiving touchdowns (46, tying an AFL record for touchdowns in a single season), and points (288).
- Played in 13 contests and contributed as a receiver and on kick return and coverage units.
- Made first NFL catch (6 yards) at Seattle (9/21).
- Was inactive against Green Bay (10/19) and at Pittsburgh (10/26) due to appendectomy.
- Had key 2-yard rush on fourth-and-two in the third quarter at Chicago (11/16) for a first down helping the offense finish the drive with a touchdown.
- Pulled in three receptions for 28 yards on Monday Night Football at Cleveland (12/8), adding two punt returns for an 11.5-yard average, with a long of 25
- Set career-highs with four catches for 45 yards vs. Seattle (12/18)
- Hauled in four passes for 30 yards vs. Carolina 1/10 in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game.
2002:
- Led the AFL New York Dragons with 74 catches for 1,055 yards and 27 touchdowns.
2001:
- Played nine games for the now defunct XFL Las Vegas Outlaws and finished third on the team with 18 receptions for 243 yards with one touchdown.
2000:
- Spent 2000 training camp with Indianapolis after signing with Colts as undrafted free agent.
